PRESIDENT GUY WEST Our president, Dr. West, received his degrees from New Mexico Western College, University of Colorado and the University of California. He has also attend- ed Columbia, Arizona and Texas Universities. During his many years in the field of education he has served as high school teacher, principal, and has held several key positions with New Mexico Western College and Chico State College. He is a member of Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society, Phi Delta Kappa and the State Committee on College Accreditation. He is past president of the Rotary Club and the Northern California Educational Research Association. Dr. West was made president of Sacramento State College upon its founding in 1947.
