Editor-in-Chief Buzz Chub The Buzz Club, Sacramento State's pep and rally organization has become one of the most active organizations on the campus. Organized in the fall of 1948 for the purpose of promoting student support for State’s varsity teams through the media of providing rooting sections and planning and presenting rallies, it has carried out its purpose throughout this year with numerous rallies to encour- age student enthusiam. Members of the Buzz Club can be identified by their white “V’ neckline sweaters, with a representative green and gold block 'S” surmounted by a hornet on them. California Student Teachers Association The C. S. T. A. is the junior branch of the California Teachers Association. Some of the aims of the group are to stimulate the high- est ideals of professional ethics, to improve educational services in general, to foster active cooperation between training institutions and their student groups and to develop professional attitudes among student teachers. Sacramento State College is one of thirty-one teacher-training institutions belonging to the state-wide organization. Membership for the state exceeds 3,000, with our school contributing 65 members. Dr. Charles Howard is our faculty sponsor.
