College Reviewed by Our College in Society, I X 2 Leadership Conference's guiding topic, was reviewed in its three dimensions — cultural, academic, and religious. Friday night a panel discussion presented the subject The Role of the Liberal Arts College. Discussing the liberal education school vs. the trade school were Dr. Elizabeth Kazan, bio-chemistry; Dean Raymond E. Lindgrcn; Dr. Ronald C. Foote. English, and Dr. ilerluf P. Nielsen. Engineering. Audience pros and cons carried this question late into the night. Each of the twelve discussion groups presented its resolution to the Sunday general assembly wherein each committee's product was reviewed and voted on.
