PUBLICATICDINIS BOB WILCOX Record Editor BETTY O'NEILL Wildcat Editor Fall JACK SWEENEY Wildcat Editor Spring Q Editors of the two im- portant Chico State Col- lege publications have been included here as being rep- resentative of the journa- listic side of college life. At the top is Bob Wilcox, this ' ' T A T year's editor of the Record. He has also held the Wildcat editorship and the position of Commissioner of Publications for the Student Body. Lower left is Betty O'Neill, fall editor of the Wildcat. Betty is a prominent member of Alpha Chi sorority and has held down many student posts. Jack Sweeney, only freshman student to hold the editorship of the Wildcat weekly, is pictured at the lower right. Jack's work during the fall semester entitled him to the position in the spring. Publications at Chico State have been progressing, although the organization of the journalists has not. The Press Club, which has been active for the past three years, was disbanded this year. Dr. Alva P. Taylor is advisor for both the Wildcat and Record, while Paul L. Byrne handles the finances. This year the class in journalism was started again and prospects are for increasing interest in Chico State publications.
