Kangaroo Kourt was the highlight of the fall semester. The Kourt was held for the punishment of first-year men and Women who had in some way violated the rules of order. Following precedent, practically every popu- lar freshman student Went on trial for some comical offense. President Moore presided over the festivities which were carried off as being in one of the old Roman courts. In the spring semester the sophomores and freshmen cast aside their rivalry and joined forces to sponsor a dance for the student body in Memorial Hall. The dance was held fol- lowing the Chico State-Fresno State basket- ball game. Class members were especially active in ath- letics, with football predominating.
