CALENDAR OF EVENTS February 23: Dinner and meeting. March 30: Dinner and meeting. April I4-16: Field trip to San Francisco World's Fair, Treasure Island. CLUB ACTIVITIES Chalked up in the name of the Industrial Arts club this past year two activities stand out. To help finance the annual Field Trip, Elmo Heard, assisted by George Thomasson and Leonard Hoskins, toiled day and night to construct his dream boat : while Dick Bragdon and Miller Landry were reconditioning the venerable Brush automobile of 1906 which was used in the Pioneer Day parade. The car was donated by Tom Vv'ood. Members who -made the trip to San Francisco were: Russell B. Kidder, Gail Moore, and Lloyd Landis, faculty: Charles Brown, John Hathaway, Thomas Pemberton, Art Crom, Al Wood, Elmo and Mrs. Heard, Mr. and Mrs. Reeves Trout, Hyde Welsh, George Thomasson, Waldo Nofrey, John Cummings, Thelma Johnson, Tony Colombero, Miller Landry, Nello Isoardi, Jack Faniani, Bill Conley, Lloyd Stockton, Woodrow Mayer, Betty Kroesing, Bill Stratton, Wesley St. John, and Leonard Hoskins.

OUTSTANDING EVENTS The Thanksgiving and Easter Vesper services held in Bidwell Memorial Presby- terian church were the outstanding events of the year. Both services were well at:- tended by townspeople as Well as students of the college. The outstanding feature of the Thanksgiving progra-m was a talk by Rev. W. I.
