ALPHA CHI-MUTSUHITO TEA The Mutsuhito club was guest of Alpha Chi Sunday, May 21, at a tea. lt was a step in better relations between the many campus sororities. Carmelita Cxirdler was chairman of the decorations committee. Richardson Springs was the scene of the annual Christmas formal held on Decem- ber 17. The room was decorated in silver and blue. Gaily decorated Christmas trees were a part of the decorations. On February 25, at an impressive cere- mony, the formal initiation of eleven pledges took place. Pounder's Day of Alpha Chi sorority was celebrated at an informal social held on Tuesday evening, May l6. Climaxing a very successful season, the annual formal dinner dance was held at the Oroville Inn on May 6. The sorority insig- nia in gold, orchid, and white decorations, and the sorority ships, were used in the decorative the-me.
