CARDINAL KEY Founded at Chico State College February II, 1937 Purpose: To be of service to Chico State in being leaders in campus activities. CALENDAR OF EVENTS November 3: Initiation of new members. February 2: Joint Blue-Cardinal Key meet- ing with Dr. Bernard as speaker. February 17: Dessert meeting for the Red Peppers. March 9: Joint Cardinal-Blue Key meet- ing. April 22: Cardinal-Blue Key Tea Dance. OUTSTANDING EVENTS Cardinal Key was fortunate this year in having two outstanding local women speak at the weekly luncheon meetings. Mrs. Shepard of the Chico Record showed her interesting scrapbooks containing excellent pictures of actors and scenes from the three -motion pictures filmed in Chico within the past year. OUTSTANDING EVENT The heighth of Delta Phi Upsilon's activities was reached at the annual banquet held in honor of the founding of the organ- ization. The tables were decorated in com- pliance with the theme, The Golden Tree, and each girl Wore a corsage made of red roses.
