blood drive a campus blood drive was conducted in october of 1971. its purpose was to establish a campus blood bank re- serve which would serve the needs of the entire college community. the existence of a blood bank reserve will re- duce the cost of blood in case of injury Ofstudents. faculty, and staff of cal state. the committee chairman. larry whitlach. worked with the C.S.C.B. student nurses organization. with their assist- ance the houchin blood bank mobile unit acquired thirty pints ofblood.
