Despite several close calls, he came our olsay or war's end. Wifh rhe cessarion of fighring, he decided rhar medicine wasn'r for him and fhar his role in life should be in educarlon where he could help shape furure gen' erafions and help malse rhe world a UGTTQV place in which ro live. A rhirryefhree year veferan of rhe Whirfier Union High School Disrrlcf, rhis man srarred his reaching career af El Psan- cho High School in 1956. He spenf seven years fhere unril leaving in 1960 when he decided TO TOISG his reaching ralenfs ro Sierra High School. Throughouf his sevenreen years af Sierra he was respecfed and admired by bofh his sfudenrs and rhe faculry alilse.
