WHO S WHO DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI OF BoYS STATE Robert H. Finch Lieutenant Governor State of California Bob Finch was sent to Boys State in 1942 from Inglewood High School. He received his B.A. from Occidental and law degree from U.S.C. at each school he was student body president. After WW2 and Korean service in the Marines, Finch organized his own law firm. In the 1966 election Finch received the largest statewide Philip M. Battaglia Executive Assistant to Governor Reagan Vote of any candidate in the nation. Phil Battaglia attended Boys State in 1951 from Loyola High School. He served as student body president at Loyola, at U.S.C. and at USC law schoolg edited the Trojan Bar and founded the Tro- jan Barristers. Became youngest partner in law firm of Flint and MacKay and served as president of L.A. junior Chamber of Com- merce. Also was officer in US Air Force for 2 years. Phil was Jack B. Lindsey Legislative Secretary to Governor Reagan campaign manager for Ronald Reagan. From Fresno High School jack Lindsey came to Boys State in 1943. A degree in Electrical Engineering at UC was followed by a Master's degree in Business Administration at Stanford. After 4 years as officer in US Navy Lindsey became Vice Pres. Early Calif. Food, Inc., Asst. Pres. Microdot Inc. and Marketing Mgr. for Carnation Co. of Los Angeles . jack Ertola attended Bo s State in 1941 Y and later served as Counselor and Commis- sioner.
