L Registering and assigning 1967 delegates Commissioner Tom Moore SACRAMENTO LEGIONNAIRES HELP BOYS STATE The enthusiastic reception and support given to the Boys State program by the Legionaires of the city and county of Sacramento have been marvelous. The details of the registration, passing out supplies and T shirts, and assisting the medical staff with the physical examina- tion are some of the responsibilities assumed by the local veterans. The Capital City Wom- en's Post and the Virginia Boden Post take alternate turns at the management of the canteen and the sale of photographs. AND HOW WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR EGGS? L Q Y ,afsf fa is J' Eating is the favorite pastime of the always-hungry boys . R ygsy Delicious meals are served three times a day and you can go it llyi back for seconds or more. lr A it 'cA' S 'it A D 4 DEWEY BAKER Q' 'X The name of Dewey Baker is known to hundreds of boys over many years. It is almost a tradition for the Baker family to supply the food at Boys State. First, Dewey Baker, Sr. and now Dewey, jr. together with his wife, mother, sister and other relatives manage the kitchen and dining room. Dewey is a Legionaire and intensely interested in the Boys State program. Picture at lower right shows Dewey, wife, mother, and 1967 kitchen staff.
