BASKETBALL Calhoun Falls High School turned out two good basketball teams this year despite the loss of live girls from the main team. The girls were defeated this year in the final game of the District Tournament. The boys, who have gone through the entire season with only one loss, rolled over the Central team to win a trophy for the District Championship. The girls loss was made to seem of less consequence when the boys came home with three trophies. Neil Chrisley, tournament captain, was awarded the trophy for being the most outstanding boy in the Class C Tournament. He was also awarded the trophy for being the most valuable boy player in the entire tournament. Edith Lowe was recognized as the all-tournament girl from Calhoun Falls.
