F OREWORD BOTTOM ROW: Carolyn Carson, Mrs. Shaffer, Bvelyn Calfrey, Mrs. Griffith, Patricia Davis. TOP ROW: Grol johnson, Selly O'l.uzy, lawrence Walk- up, Ronnld Hale, Lawrence Reed, Mary Davison. 1 962 Ainodelac Foreword: Dear Reader: Since World War II, the U.S. has been witness to an era of building. Homes, oliioes, industrial plants, and schools have sprung up to meet the demands of our constantly growing population. The Class of 1962 is proud to be coworkers in this program. We have built a school-not of brick and mortar, but one just as important, for it will remain always in our hearts. It is a school of spirit. C.M.C.S. students have been working hard to build class spirit. It is prominent in class activities where cooperation and hard work are necessary, in the satishction of a successful class project such as presenting a beautiful junior Prom or Ball. Class spirit is the pride and confidence that our class is the hest. Spirit represents memories of those individuals who helped us during our formative years-people like our teachers who have worked hard to educate us, the athletic coaches who hlwe taught us teamwork, our athletes who have represented us in sports, the taxpayers who have bettered our school, and finally those persons who have always been willing to lend a helping hand. To these and all the others, too numerous to mention, the Ainodelac pays tribute. The members of the stall of the 1962 AINODELAC have worked to present C.M.C.S. with the finest yearbook yet to he published and hope you will treasure it always as a precious memento ofthe school year.
