Senior Class Will My friend, I have called you to assemble here as a solemn duty, that you, the heirs and assigns of my respected client, the class of 1952 to 1953, may hear her last will and testament, which as her legal advisor, I drew, as directed by her, immediately prior to her passing from our presence. To our dear Alma Mater, we bequeath some new grass guaranteed to grow under all walking conditions . To the sophomores, we bequeath our ability to persuode the teacher to see our point of view. To the freshmen, or beginners department, we heroically leave our surplus knowledge. To M’s. Hanson, we leave a little notebook so that she may job down the names of idlers in assembly. Glen Moen wills his quiet ways to Keith Anderson. His way with women. Gene Cotton leaves to Paul Beltz. Ernest Soholt leaves his good jokes to Don Hatfield. Arvid Thompson leaves nothing because he needs all he has for the future. To the laziest member of the Senior Class-to-be, we bequeath James Vettel's ambition. Result will be normal activity. To whomever wants it, Arvid Thompson leaves his experience to train wild broncs. To the young and unsophisticated Preshmen, we leave a map of the school building. To the Junior Class, we leave our well-known nerve which they will need next year, and all the examination questions we have been given during the year. To the Seniors-to-be, Dennis Satermo leaves what he forgot to do, plus all the articles he mislaid. Roger Anderson leaves to James Doeden his brilliant and witty remarks. To the undergraduate needing it most, we give Harold's store of information which will make the recipient able to pass any test In any subject not offered next year. To the history of the Caledonia High School, we bequeath our illustrious deeds and our names as candidates for the Hall of Fame, and to our dear old school building itself, we leave the peace- ful quiet caused by our absence and any apple cores, wads of gum, or crumpled notes we may have left about. In witness whereof, we the Class of 1952-1953, the testator, have set our hand and seal on this 29th day of May in the year of 1953. 13
