Seniors As the tide rolls out, we see Treasures of what was once ours. Fleeting glimpses of little things That we might have soon forgotten. The steps we ran up, stood on, fell down, and forgot. The rooms we sat in, laughed in, abused and left. The books we read in, wrote in, learned in, and returned. We'll always remember the prom, our high school lovers, and standing in the downstairs hall. Crushed, dried flowers will bring back memories of a Christmas dance, play performance, or homecoming honor. And those blue and white letters will hang in our memories forever. Sure, We'll remember bitter defeats and the sorrow of losing our fellow classmates, but the clouds can't blot out the sun. Even after our old school is reduced to trash and hauled away in dump trucks, We'll remember. No, we can't forgetg it's too much a part of us.
