An opportunity to keep up with the most recent veteran benefits is one of the club ' s most beneficial services. Any former member of our armed forces who re- ceived an honorable or medical discharge is eligible for membership. One of the club ' s main activities throughout the school year is a trip to the Oteen Veterans Hospital at Christmas, where the members cheer up the patients with baskets of fruit and friend- ly smiles. Tliis annual day of fur out on the links, with the staff an faculty joining the students, was held at Cedar Rock Country Club. Winner of the mens ' low net trophy was Don Adams, with Tom Peter - kin as ru nnerup. Barbara Thomas led the field in the womens ' low net award.
