BEVERLY BURP MUELLER FRANCES FRAN OLSON Broadcaster Staff Band Echo Staff Broadcaster Staff Basketball Echo Staff Softball Girls Glee Club Mixed Chorus Mixed Chorus Play Play Class Vice President Class Vice President Class Treasurer REGINA GINA VENS Librarxan Echo Staff Girls Glee Club CLYDE OLIVER KLEINSMITH Mixed Chorus Echo Staff Student Council Play Librarian Semor Class Prophecy As we were touring this part of green and beautiful Iowa in 1960, we stopped at Calamus to see the Seniors of 51 We were low on gas so we stopped at the Texaco station Who should come out but Dorothy Green Horstmann with a half dozen kids running behind her Then we saw Jim coming around the corner rolling a tire We talked for awhile and Jam told us that Beverly and Wob were living on a farm north of Calamus Time was running short so we drove on downtown We had some cards to mail so we stopped at the post office Mary Eden now has a steady job there She saxd that Jean and Sherry were living on a farm near Big Rock As we were leaving the post office we met Betty She said she was home over the week end and works as a receptionist for a doctor in Davenport Betty told us that Regina also works in Davenport as a stenographer We decided to take a dr1ve in the country About two miles out, we had a flat tire, lucluly xt happened in front of a farm house We got out to go for help and to our surprise Loren and Kay came to our axd They have been living there for two years Loren saxd he had just seen Keith and Clyde who were home on leave from the Navy After a very exciting day we decxded to Journey to DeWitt for the evening While we were checking 1n at the hotel, we heard a very familiar voice ask for her key. Much to our surprise it was Frances. We had talked awhile and learned that she'd just returned from a tour of the states, having lectured on Home Economics.
