Devotion Working hard Dedicated athletes could be found on and off the field, in the weight room, on the tennis court, but often overlooked were the junior varsity and freshman track team where dedicated athletes got their start. Since the top runners were placed on varsity, the junior var- sity and freshmen were often considered the less experienced.
