Year In ! 9 Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev realized the need for reforms in the country. With the people in the midst of a critical economic condition, he de- cided to make a change. The only prob- lem is that the Communist Party and the government can ' t agree on how to do it. Actress-Singer- ' Material Girl , Ma- donna has again stirred up controversy. MTV banned her Justify My Love video because of it ' s strong sexual con- tent. The critically acclaimed concert rockumentary film Truth or Dare was released to limited engagements and her Immaculate Collection stayed at the top of the charts for weeks. ifoirt 2A
