FOREIGN My name is jose. I am from northern Spain and I came here with the AFS. My city Bilbao 14, 000, OOO peoplej, is an industrial city and a seaport. It is the most important of the Basque country which is composed of four provinces in the northern part of Spain. The Basque people feel that they are different in some ways from the rest of the Spanish people because they speak Basque, which is unlike any other language in the World. Here I am staying with the Twichell's and I think they are a great family. Here, like in Spain, I have two brothers, so the size of my family has not been changed. I have already graduated in Spain, when I go back I will go to college. I will try for my Masters in Biology. To tell the truth the school is not very exciting here. It is easier than over there too. You don't have to memorize as many things. But somethings Ifind interesting is the many different activities and sports you can choose from. Actually, besides the school, the AFS activities and the water polo practice take almost all my time.
