IN MEMORY OF Eleanor Andersen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.W. Andersen and whose guardians were Mr. and Mrs. David Schaffer, lost her life in a traffic acci- dent October 5, 1973. Eleanor was active in pep club and F.B.L. A. at Centura High School. She was also active in the United Methodist Youth Group, at the Cairo United Methodist Church. Eleanor was an individual who felt aware of the fact that she should make her life right with everyone. She also believed that everyone was her equal and everyone loved her for this. John Larkowski, son of Don and Marilyn Larkowski, died of injuries suffered in a traffic accident October 5, 1973. John was a member of the 1974 graduating class at Centura. Enrolled in the Trades and industries course of study, John spent his pastime working on what he liked best, cars and engines. Loren Myers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Myers, lost his life April 28, 1974 in a drowning accident. Loren was in the eighth grade at Centura. Being active in Sports, Loren participated in Jr. High football, basketball, wres- tling and track. For pastime Loren, loved to read science fiction literature, in fact Loren had read every science fiction book in the School Library. Loren loved to ride horses and his last day was spent riding horseback on a family outing. LeRoy Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Brown, died of injuries suffered in a car accident on May 5, 1974. LeRoy was enrolled in the Trades and Industries course of study at Centura and had pursued this course by being employed at Baasch and Sons Welding in Cairo. LeRoy was a quiet person and loved being around cars. As a mechanical- ly inclined person, LeRoy would have gone far, had it not been for this tragic event of fate. 2
