E diforial We, the Class of 1959, present this issue of the Forge in the hope that lt will serve as an accurate pictorial history of the past year at C. C. S. We are deeply grateful to all those who had a part in making our high school careers a success. skillful guidance of the teachers we would Without the not be as capable of meeting the outside world and overcoming the obstacles which we are sure to meet. We realize that, for the past twelve years, school has been the center of our lives and has been a deciding factor in whether we will be successes or failures in the future. We are especially thankful for the help of advisors to whom we owe the success of our projects. This money was used for our two projects which were the publication of the our trip to Washington. ' We will never forget the good times we had The fun and excitement of basketball games our class money-making main senior yearbook and in school. has been an unforgettable pleasure- The school dances and especially the Junior Prom have been the highlights of our social lives for the past few years. We enjoyed working to- gether on such class projects as dances, skating parties, and the yearbook. We have made many lasting friendships in school and even after we are separated we will not forget our schoolmates. We will be sorry to leave Cairo and all the pleasant things which we associated with our school life. We are looking forward to the future and wondering what it holds in store for us. 3
