ll wo le and no play mms uicu A nun nov Activities are the extra-curricular studies that provide an oppor' tunity lior us to participate in the particular liield we like best. Activities help us to grow into the sort ol' individuals we wish to be. Because we believe that no one club or activity deserves more prominence than another, we have strived to equally present each organization. 'lihere is no laclt ol' clubs or activities at Caholtiafonly a laclx ol' time to participate in all ol' them. Alter school from three to four most students attend regular meetings ol' their clubs. Evenings are often liilled with ballgames and dances. The Student Council is the guiding liorce over all activities. lt limits our bad ideas and approves our good ones. Publications give the students a chance to express ideas through writing. The Future Teach- ers learn about that particular prol'ession. Cirls' Athletics provide wholef some recreation lor any interested girl. The Future llomemalters work lor better home life in our community. Students who like music may gain entrance into the band or choral groups. The llocliettes and dra' matics help to develop poise and confidence. Sports is an activity in which all the students are interested. Along with athletics go the Pep Club and C Club, both ol' which are organized as service clubs. To encourage better scholarship, leadership, and citizenship there are the honorary clubs, Quill and Scroll and llonor Society. Cooperative attitudes, exchanging ol' ideas, faculty encouragement. and congenial members have made our organizations successful.
