taries. Both girls held an interest in former C.C.H.S. students. LUCRETIA LUTKER also was interested in a Comanche graduate, namely, the monster. Cahokia's chief future homemaker, IO ANN LOR- ENZE, reigned as the 1954 Homecoming Queen. In spite of her many F.H.A. duties, jo Ann found time to write for publications. 'lo Ann will be remem- bered as a great asset to her class. FRED PODHRASKY, the chef of Home Living Class, could whip up a pie with the best of them. In the same class, JOHN LORENTZEN excelled in the stirring up of cakes. john, a true farm boy, liked nothing better than his horse. Two of EILEEN OSBORNE'S most prized posses- sions were her long hair and her Art. A regular twosome, MARCIE DEBOURCE and -HM PETTERSON, went in for sports. Margie was cheerleader for two years and Pete was a gridiron rep- resentative for four vears. C.A.A.'s peppy president, NANCY BAUR, was one senior we couldn't miss hearing. Nancy served as G.A.A. president and as a cheerleader for two years. Mr. Big, BOB EDMONDSON, held multiple ex- ecutive offices in his senior year - he was senior class president, student council president, F.T.A. president, and Honor Society president. Besides, he still found time for football, basketball, Caltohron, and a few dozen other activities. The overscer of the candy case, WILMA CAPPER, pounded a typewriter daily in Office Clerical. MARTHA WRIGHT, one of the smallest seniors, had O.C. on her list, too, we've attended many a dance and yelled many a cheer IAMESELLA SANDERS, a newcomer to the tribe, came to Cahokia from across the Mississippi. lVlr. Touchdown, BOB DINCA, scored many points for the Cahokia Comanches. Bob was the cape tain of the football squad. He also played basketball. DALE RAMELOT and RONNIE COBB spent part of their school day out of school, with permission. They were on D.O. CHARLOTTE THOlVlPSON'S big interest was a certain Buck of bygone days. Charlotte had the twice repeated honor of being attendant to a queen and was a queen herself. LARRY TOLBIRD spent third hour in making eyes at the teachers and in baking pies Cwhich prof duced drastic after-effectsl Even with this tough schedule, Larry helped the football team chalk up a WlI1l'1lDg season. RONNIE DAVID and RONNIE NAPIER were both Monsanto products, Ronnie David represented his class mates in Student Council. Ronnie Napier spent every first hour solving bookkeeping problems. ln the bookkeeping line, RUTH ANGEL found that A:-'L+P was the hardest thing she had to learn her senior year. GLENN CROSS, JOAN BERRY, SANDY GAR- DYNE, and LEE BODENDIECK were bitten by the Bug in their senior year. Their side-by-side moc- casin tracks are imprinted in the halls.
