Juniors are es- pecially fond of typing, shorthand, and American History reports. The superior seniors l'eel that hooldteeping, ehemistry, and English lV are xvorthxvhile eourses. All the elasses enjoy l'.ll., study hall, and noon hour. ln addition to the required aeademie suhjeets, there are alfl elasses lor the artistieally inelined, wood and metal shop lor the huilder, husi- ness elasses I'or typing and shorthand fiends, and liomemalging for luture wives. During study hall hour we always WhcI's the brief form? hope that there will he an opportunity to catch up on the latest news or to have a little snooze. llowever, our superiors very seldom forget that first word-study. At noontime, if we don't have a meeting, we rush pell-mell to get in line for lunch. After a heartv lunch, we divide our time in many ways-dancing. basketball practice, loafing. flirting. or studying. C-A-ll-U-K-I-A, Yea, Caholtial 'lihese words continually ring in Where does the obiect go? our ears. Pep assemblies tune our voices lior the strenuous workouts they receive at games. Besides pep assemblies, manv assem- lmlies are written and produced luv the stu- dents. ln the evening, the children of Calioliia Commonfields have some outstanding experi- ences to relate concerning their education. Susan, an eighth grader, cut her wood for , a whatnotg her cousin, Charles, helnmed an Prove tho! apron: Don, a sophomore, had fun cutting up a slimv earthworin for a squeamish girl: Alice. the sophisticated senior, left her sec- retarial training class earlv to applv for a stenographers position.
