' Art ...... .... - 12 Qefcafzon Ciicfbzh 312 ykgdff The position of chairman of the Music De- partment of Caesar Rodney is held by a viva- cious and most talented gentleman. Mr. Edwin F. Englehart was born in Pennsylvania and began his education there. He graduated from the Uni- versity of Michigan and attended, among others, the University of Delaware for his Post-Gradu- ate work. He married Hazel Venatta in July of 1945. They now live at R.D. +41 Lebanon Road, Dover, Delaware, and have three children William, Margaret, and Janet. In September of 1948, he joined the faculty of the Caesar Rodney Special School District. In 1949 he received a citation from the Governor of Delaware for outstanding work with the Cae- sar Rodney High School Band. Since then, through his efforts, the Band has become one of the best in the state. Forever encouraging, Mr. E. is always quick to congratulate on a performance whether it was truly good or not. To you, Mr. Englehart, we dedicate the 1967 Crisp. Q24 U?006QQy Ziyi 50150 of yFdfCAIhy Zan of ,ME 1 L .Hn 1 .ax qs- , Q un.: LL- P L L LLMQKL S193 L L My X24 ' if 'L if L L iii ' - 1 1:3 V- gf? Would I have any prob- lems? What am I going to find? But then, as time went by, all of these were an- swered. The response came with the wonderful ex- perience of seeing and showing, of living with you and learning to appreciate and respect your similar- ities and differences. In this way, I found that in spite of distance and backgrounds, Americans and Argentines are alike: the same dreams and the same efforts directed to- ward the goal of a peaceful and useful life. C.R.H.S. has been something very special to me since the first unforgettable day of class. I want to thank all of you for your understanding and friend- ship. My life has been enriched by sharing your i- deals and problems. I hope I gave back, to each of you, a few of my ideas and dreams. I felt honored and, at the same time, proud of being a member of the A.F.S. and the C.R.families. As our A.F.S. motto says: Walk together, talk to- gether, all ye people of the earth, then, and only then shall ye have peace. This is our goal, new generation! By promoting peace and good will among men we then shall be the architects of a new and great tomorrow, WSJ ZQUCQ gknd tfeytaif k erfero Cjmmmog Szywnbha Y! .' , X L flli if ri.: Q 111' u.fs,lLf9 lwm ry- Y G 2 2, v Q X qui- A I xx 2 qt Ill 4 s 6 e X ' XE 4.1 , '. . At this time we are growing up, meeting new challenges, and learning to enjoy life more and more. We spend many hours of each day at school, gaining know- ledge to prepare us to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Now we are about to end an important phase of our life and begin a new one. The 1967 Crisp Staff hopes that in these pages you willfind a pleasant re- minder of these years and that they will have special meaning for each of you. In addition, we hope you will always have deep pride and spirit in your school, for not only are we the 50th graduating class of Caesar Rodney, but the last graduating class of this high school. I would like to thank Mr. Shotzberger for all his hard work and long hours which have made this yearbook possible. I also greatly appreciate the cooper- ation of the staff members who worked so hardin its preparation, for this has made working on the yearbook a valuable experience for me. I hope that in some way our efforts will be rewarded through your satisfaction and enjoyment.
