BASEBALL Last year's Tri-County League champs, the Generals, began a 16-game sche- dule on April 15 with Oley on the diamond of the opposing team. Coach John Poliscnak's s1uggers.bced stiff competition in both the South- ern Division of the Werke County League and in the Tri-County League. Jack Fillmen, who last year pitched perfect ball, was among the boys who heeded the call for baseball oleyers.Other veteran players include: Ken Kurtz, Lynn Sagner, Webster Fox, Richard Hertzler, Barry Kruppenbach and Paul Miller. They played only one game this season, which was with Pennside, the victors. The final score for this contest was l2-SS, with Polly Learned as high scorer for Caernarvon.
