DRANIATICS CLUB Elsie Moyer, Wagner, Hay, McElroy, Hollinger, Lilley, Becker, McFarland, Mrs. Gro f Pike, Buchler, Janet Beck, Witwer, Jo-Ann Beck, Rhoads, Bannon, Davis The Dramatics Club was a new organization of Caernarvon this year, under the direction of Mrs. Dorothy Groff.Some of the members will have been train- ed to do average make-up for any production. Part of the time was spent on making scenery for playsg also there were small contests. On January ll a few members put on a one-act play for Mrs. Groff's as- sembly entitled NHis First Shaven. Participants were: Eugene Witwer, Eugene Hollinger, Jo-Ann Beck, Elsie Moyer and Charlotte Davis. Three one-act plays were presented on March 21. The nDabblersU was a comedy with an all-girl cast composed of: Betty Jean Pike, Irene Lilley,Mabel Rhoads, Thelma Jane Martin, Doris Ann McFarland, and Elsie Moyer,ln1 e comedy NRinging in the Groomn the characters were: Jo-Ann Beck, Charlotte Davis, Eu- gene Hollinger, Mary Bannon, Donald Rossman, Janet Beck, Arlene Wagner and Shirley Becker.The characters in the tragedy WSubmergedn were: Eugene Witwer, Eugene Hollinger, Barry Kruppenbach, David Rau, Robert Lange and Donald Ross- man. 42

BOYS SPORTS CLUB FS Rouss, Fillman, Mountz, Sagner, Hataloski, Kurtz, Lange, Gring, M . Bilger L. Beam, Schaffer, Witman, Hoffman, O'Neill, Miller, Rau, W. Fox Glick, Moyer, Calvin Howe, D. Fox, Ink, Hertzler, Conrad Howe This year was ushered in with a new Sports Club leader,Roy Bilger.Through- out the season the Sports Club has been doing a variety of things. During the falland winter months the fellows played football and basketbaD.when the weath- er permitted and on rainy days they talked about hunting. Several of the fel- lows told of various hunting experiences. The weeks that followed were filled with reference to college teams and local high schools. Spring found some fellows taking their places at various spots a1the base- ball field while others contented themselves with softbal1,volleyball and other outdoor sports. During the rainy season the club held discussions on fishing. 41

GIRLS' CHORUS 'F l J Hollinrer, Beyer, Bannon, Jo-Ann Beck, Pike, Snyder, Lilley, Wagner, Becker, Elsie Moyer, Montgomery, Wells, Ethel Moyer, Mr. Zwally Witwer, Fox, Davis Janet Beck, Rhoads, Klinger, Martin, Eshelmen, Lengel, Stalnecker, Trout Under the direction of Robert E. Zwally, the Girls' Chorus meets twice a week, on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. It consists of members from the freshman, sophomore, junior and senior classes. The chorus made several appearances this year,namely,the Annual Candle- light Service and the Spring Concert. The chorus music includes all types of music from secular to sacred se- lections. This music is played by Eugene Hollinger, the accompanist. 43
