SCIENCE CLUB N Hartman, L. Beam, Rossman, Weiler, Pauley, Mr. Eberts, Hoffman, Roth The Science Club, under the direction of Elbert Eberts, has been active this year. Its members have been performing some interesting chemistery experiments with oxygen, hydrogen and nitricacid. The club also tested the component parts of sons foods, such as sugar, starches and fats. 39

CRAFT CLUB R. Kruppenbach, Segner, Patton, Nr. Ness, H. Stoltzfus, Green, Haas, Stoltzfus B. Krupoenbach, Eshelman, Sparr The Craft Club, under the guidance of Kenneth Ness, had a busy season. The members did a lot of work developing their tal- ents in leather craft, model making, painting and crocheting. Some dfthe boys made model airplanes so that they might fly them in the spring. The president,Elsie Eshelman,took charge of the semi-weekly meetings. Shirley Segner preformed the secretarial obligations and Shirley Sparr acted as treasurer. 3B

GIRLS' SPORTS CLUB R. Shirk, M. Reider, Martin, Mr. Polischak Witwer, Lengel, B. Shirk, Wells Mountz, Stoltzfus, Trout, J. Moyer The Girls' Sports Club consists of freshman, sophomore and junior girls under the direction of John Polischak. They spent most of their club periods playing basketball, badmintor, volleyball, softball and tennis. They also went on several short hikes. 40
