SOPHOMORES Klinger, Beyer, Wagner, Elsie Moyer, Beam, H. Stoltzfus, Mountz, Ethel Moyer Calvin Howe, Fox, Peck, Zimmerman, V. Stoltzfus, Garber, Stoltzfus Gring, Witman, Hay, Hartman, Martin, Weiler, D. Beam The class of '5h, with Roy Bilger as its adviser, returned this year with a new addition from Muhlenburg High School, Eugene Gring. This class has taken a large part in school activities and has shown good school spirit. The members have worked hard selling their chocolate milk and orange drink.They had a skating party at Ringing Rocks, which pro- vided entertainment for the classes and proved profitable to the sophomore class. The contributions to sports are William Hartman, Eugene Gring, James Witman, Elsie Moyer, Thelma Jane Martin and Audrey Fox. Nancy Mountz was chosen as a junior varsity cheerleader. The band has five members of the Sophomore class.They are Elsie Moyer, Ethel Moyer, James Witman, Joan Beyer and Nancy Mountz. 28

FRESHIVIEN Glick, Snyder, O'Neill, Moyer, Roth, Pauley, Ink, Moyer Abbott, McFarland, Berstler, R. Kruppenbach, Davis, Trout, D. Fox Hoffman, Schaffer, Rossman, Rouss, B. Reider, M. Reider, Hoffman, Becker Under the guidance of John Polischak this class, consisting of twenty- five members,elected officers and prepared themselvesibr their school career. The students have proved their salesmanship and eagerness to co-operate with each other in the magazine campaign. The class sold more magazines than any other group in the school. The group has also shown its school spirit by participating in the num- erous activities about school. The musicians who play in the band are: Janet Berstler,Doris Ann McFarland, Donald Rossman and Joan Snyder. The color guard of the band has Joanna Moyer and Charlotte Trout as flag twirlers. Dennis Fox,Gaylon Hoffman and Warren O'Neill pluggedfbr the Boys' Junior High Basketball team, while Joan Snyder, Janet Berstler, Doris Ann McFarland, Polly Learned and Joanna Moyer played on the Girls' Junior High team. Three freshmen girls were selected junior cheerleaders, they were: Shirley Becker, Polly Learned and Doris Ann McFarland. The class is represented in the Student Council by Charlotte Davis and Stephen Moyer. 30
