HOMECOMI G Left to rlght Larry lehl Emery Peterson, Robert Freagon, Krng Gerald Sm1th Queen Mary Ellen Lucas Sandra Meulr, Kay l-hckethrer LeAnne Werrrch Cut the Cards was the theme for the Cadott I-hgh School's 1957 Homecomrng celebrated on Fuday September 27 Thurs day evenmg a pep program was presented, followed by the trad1t1ona1 snake dance and bonfrre The memorable day was started wrth the street parade compnzed of elaborate floats desrgned and bmlt by classes and varrous school orgaruzatlons Addmg splce to thrs gala event were the Thorp Band the Cadott Homet Band and the Hornette Marchmg Umt The lughhght of the festwmes was the football game Precedmg the game the coronatron ceremony was held After Queen Mary Ellen Lucas was crowned, she presented a football to Kmg Gerald Sm1th Dunng the halfume, the Hornettes and the two bands agam performed for our enter tamment An especlally approprrate maneuver was the number 75 represennng the Cadott Hrgh School s 75th anmversary D1sappo1nted but not drscouraged, the team was defeated Smce all rs well that ends well, the day was not a complete fa1lure for the Home commg Dance was a success.
