MUSIC PARENTS The Cadott Musrc Parents Club whose member are the parents of the band and chorus members held therr frrst meeting rn September of 1957 Elected as offrcers for the 57 58 school year were Mrs Carlene Rubyor presrdent Mrs Ruby Dretzler vrce presrdent Mrs Inga Greene secretary and Mrs Fern Lelser treasurer Regular meetrngs are held rn the musrc room the frrst Wednesday of each month Thrs organrzatron rncreased therr funds by means of bake sales the edrtron of a recrpe book and by the sale of candy at the annual Chrrstmas and sprrng concerts Therr earmngs were grven to supply the new bass clarrnet was provrded durmg the past year a bassoon was purchased and new chorus robes were And rt comes out here also ordered Somethrng new was trred rn Decem ber of 1956 when the Musrc Parents sponsored a profrtable talent contest emceed by popular WEAU TV announcer Howard Trrckey On February 15 of thrs year a hrghly successful talent nrght was agam sponsored wrth another WEAU celebrrty Bob Dawson as emcee Agree'P'P The Musrc Parents have done much toward encouragrng and assrstrng the C H S music department Many thanks are extended to thrs actrve group Therr wrllrng support rs gratrfyrng and much apprectated Attentrve Mothers' l ' s 1 . - v -r- . - . 9 - ' . 5 - . 9 E , , music department with needed items.
