Lund, nee Minnie Wil- .N.,..,.s,.,NM..M,.- , ,w..,.,.,.,...,.,.,. liamson, survives. Alert and active, in spite of her advanced years, she lives in her cozy little home in Thorp. A visit with her just before Christmas found her busy addressing cards and wrapping gifts with the zeal and interest some of us younger folks might envy, Mrs. Lund taught in the Cadott Public School in 1888-1889 and had 82 pupils in her rooml C.H,S, is the fortunate recipient of many souvenirs from her high school days. A well-preserved collection of botanical specimens, her diploma, still rolled and wrapped in the original blue ribbon, announcements and programs from the first several commencements, Mrs. Lund's first teaching certi- ficates, and several individual graduation pictures which she has treasured through the years - all are among our most treasured museum pieces now, We salute Mrs. Lund, our oldest living alumna! CLASS CF I88 FRED MUNROE MAGGIE SHERMAN fi, The valedictorian of the first graduating class of C. H. S. , in 1887, is its sole stu'vivor - Fred L. Munroe, a gentleman now living 1 in well-earned retirement at Wenatchee, Washington. Through our correspondence with him, we have found him to be in gen- eral good health despite his 89 years, and living wisely and carefully in the home he and his late wife occupied. Because of his unceasing interest in his Alma Mater Graduate of 1887 IW Fred L. Munroe, 1958 , C,H.S, , his large, framed g ys, several one-year teaching certificates, and the original copy of the valedictory which he delivered at commence- sent to us, and are now some of our most important museum pieces, We consider ourselves very fortunate in having so many of the firsts from diploma, a botanical collection from hi h school da ment in 1887 have been our high school's history.
