Daily, students won- er what the more daring olks will wear to school, and onder ifthey, too, can stand from the crowd. There are many ways to be everyone else. Body ercing is a way of self- currently popular, example, and large rings, out sharp points, are for wear on toe or I always feel like some- 's missing when I forget to put on my thumb ring, sophomore Melisa McKay said. Shoes, shoes and more shoes are still the top dog on the fashion list. Adidas are all that, Vanyda Nouaneasa said. They're the only shoes for me. Even little girl jellies are big, now back at school in big girl style. With all the new trends competing, it's not easy to stand out from the crowd, but it's fun to try, to dare to be different. e Amanda Bulger Ien Burdsal jason McGuirl, David Grey, Vivian Deolaso and Andrea Lux wear some of the many fashions popular this year. Mark Brennan breaks school rules to wear his sil- ver shades. Sunglasses in many shapes were a hot trend this year. STUDENT LIFE I 3
