Along with excitement, there was a lot of pride exhibited in many different areas. Amid all our studies, each of us found rime to relax and share special times with our friends. j - r Not only will we hove memories of all the people at Cache, but there will be memories of oil the most popular people throughout the world. Ram- bo . Rocky IV, and Bock to the Future were some of the favorite movies of the year. 5ome of the populor television shows were '.'Miami Vice and The Cosby Show. In the athletic field, ''The Refrigerator become popular in the football area; ohd Pete Rose, in the baseball area. MEMORIES tV ' 0NGJMr Not oil memories con be happy ones. For instance, we will hove the memory of the space shuttle which killed seven people including o teacher. We also hod o lot of plane hi-jockings and plane crashes during this year. Overall, the year 1985-86 holds many memories for each and every one of us. Whether good or bad, we will always treasure these memories. 21 Another important factor of school is our friends. Friends con moke o world of difference in your high school life. Having so- meone to listen to your problems, or lending a helping hand are some of the best qualities of friends. Some of the best memories of your youth or high school days are with friends. Without friends, the world would be a very lonely place. 22 The year of 1985 was proclaimed os the International Youth Year and during this school year of 1985-86, I have realized the many assets of our youth. I am sure that all of us believe that in America the youth is our future, bur the responsibility each faces is great. I would like to challenge our Seniors and all of our students at Cache to look for and accept that one spot that is only for you and do the best job you can in life. To do this you will need oil of the preparation you con obtain and learning is the best way to prepare yourself for that place in life. Learning comes from not only formal education, but also from living and listening. Learning is nor just hearing bur absorb- ing and understanding. Learning opportunities In America is on- ly limited by you, not only physically but spiritually. I would like to congratulate the Seniors and to say that Cache School is here to help in any way it can even after your graduation. In the start of the 1985-86 football season, the Bulldogs really weren't prepared. They finally starred showing their teamwork by winning two in a row. Their winning streak didn't lost long when they lost on Homecoming night to the Elgin Owls. The two best gomes were yet to come. They won on exciting overtime victory or home by stopping Anadorko four straight times inside the ten yard line. The over-confident Hobart Bearcats come to Cache looking for on easy victory, bur in turn received o real bottle. The Dogs finished the year by losing to the Store runner-up. the Sayre Eagles. DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE Those ever present words emitted by Coach Mullenix were the words that every player dreaded, though in the end, defense paid off in big dividends. The sprints, the suicides, the free throw gomes, ond the other getrin in shpe activities provided the Bulldog fons with many hours of exciting basketball action. The final record may nor hove been what the players, coaches, or the fons hod hoped for: bur the determination of the dogs could nor hove been doubted. 128 (L R): T. McCollum. B. Cosrlebury, L. LADY BULLDOGS EXCELL WITH PRIDE Although the Store Tournomenr wos in sight os the lodies went down in defect, they finished their season with o 19-8 record. Certainly nothing to be ashamed of. What Cooch Albin mode the forwards concentrate on most wos their free throw. Which in their lost victory against Mongum, the free throw practicing paid off os Kelly Seymour sank 6 out of 6 in an overtime to give the girls o win. The lodies surpassed Fletcher, Chatty, and Sterling in the County Tournament; Walters and Empire in the District; and Rush Springs and Mongum in the Regional Tournament, to capture oil three championships. But when the first round of Area Tournament, in Weather- ford, come along, the girls just weren't able to pull if off. They were defeated first by Geory then ogoin by Rush Springs. HIGH BOYS HAVE SUPER SEASON Talent, dedication, team spirit, leadership, and Bulldog Pride — all describe Cache High School's athletic program — the players — the coaches — the cheerleaders — and the fans! The Annual Awards Banquet recognizes players for their individual and team efforts in making 1986 a super sports season. Bulldog Awards went to Kelly Seymour and Mark Woommauouah. Kelly was instrumental in leading the girls' basketball team to the finals of the Area Tournament being defeated by the 2A Stare Cham- pions — Rush Springs. Mark’s versatile talent was evident as a quarterback on the varsity football ream, State track qualifier, and as a starter on the varsity basketball squad.
