Under the direction of Glenn Newcomb, the Cabrillo Marching Band maintained an undisputed reputation for itself, and Cabrillo High School. Upon entering the band room you are trophies which were awarded for their efforts. They range from six-foot masterpieces to wax covered skulls. The Marching Band would be incomplete without the snappy style of the majorettes, headed by solo majorette Sally Schaefer. This was clearly displayed by their attention-grabbing routines and fresh new ideas for reviving spirit this year. Starting off on the good foot, the Cabrillo Heralds marched on to their second successful year. They added extra F attraction to the band wherever they traveled.
