With Linda Sanders as their captain, she organized her squad into a fine precision group. These girls took part in assemblies, games, and anything and everything the school took part in. Through bake sales and car washes they were able to purchase new uniforms for basketball season. Top: The 1972-73 Junior Varsity Cheerleading squad. Songleaders And Cheerleaders Combine Efforts Noted for their pep and pezzaz in their yells were the Varsity Cheerleaders, under the direction of Debbie Finley. And a squad that could Well be described as, Making music worth looking at, was the Songleading squad, under Dale Goodwin's leadership. Together these two groups performed innumerable routines, money making projects, and skits for the school. They helped to create an exciting atmosphere for all who attended pep rallies, football games, etc. With routines from their summer workshop in Santa Barbara and their own imaginations they were able to bring distinction and originality to all. l 29
