They tried to answer the frequently asked question, What makes things tick? Directed by Bernie McGivney, the Mathematics Department simplified the complexity of mathematics by the use of their computer. The Social Science Department, headed by Jim Gerard, prepared the students for dealing with future situations from past examples in history. Their teachings left students with a new key to today's and tomorrow's problems.
