N U N f. .- 41 Cabot fell short in seeking its first-ever state volleyball championship, but left Ar- kadelphia's Henderson State University with a 3-2 record against the best teams in the state and a fifth place finish. The Pan- thers also placed a member on the All- State team. Mel Brill was one of 12 volley- ball players named to the Class A All State Tournament team after playing. It was the first year an all-state team was named. Brill was a senior at Cabot High School and a member of last year's district championship volleyball team. The players who didn't play, cheered their team on with great enthusiasm. Even though they didn't participate in the games, they did very well on the bench. If it wasn't for them, the girls playing wouldn't get peped up as much as they would with the other players. Most of the players are seniors and will miss next year but will know we'll have a great one next year. QQ PANT H JA., lf' ,, .,.,.. f E - Ni. Q11 Tracey just loves to set.
