Cabot students at Foothills Vocational Technical School leave after third period in the school's van. Searcy provides return transportation. Students attend Vo-Tech to gain practical skills not available at their school in areas such as Auto Body Repair, Auto Mechanics, Farm and Diesel Mechanics, Electronics, Machine Shop, and Welding. The Vo-Tech program is in its fourth year at Cabot.Prospective students must be at least 16 years old, preferably a junior or senior. Applications are placed in the fall, and an interview held. The course is worth two elective credits and is designed to be a two year program. Full time advanced training is available after high school graduation. ff J' . One of the goals of the Sr. Madrigals was to do well in competition. They competed in the Central Region Invitational Choir Festi- val in the fall, and placed in the top 3, receiv- ing a superior rating. In the spring, they will compete in the region festival, and put on an Easter service and pop concert with the Sr. Choir. The Madrigals are considered a show choir and perform for different clubs, sing- ing a wide variety of music. They performed at every half-time of every game this year, giving the most excellent show possible. They also added life to the games by cheering and playing tunes which encouraged both the audience and football players alike.
