til CABARRUS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL SCHOOL OF NURSING SCHOOL OF NURSING CLASS OF lN r iqco 920 CHURCH ST. NORTH CONCORD, N.C. 28025 VOL. XXVIII Of all the words in the world put together, Edgar Guest put them into the picture of you. I’d rather see a sermon than hear one anyday, Fd rather one should walk with me than merely show the way. The eye's a better pupil and more willing than the ear; Fine counsel is confusing, but example’s always clear; And the best of all the preachers are the men who live their creeds, For to see the good in action is what everybody needs. I can soon learn how to do it if you’ll let me see it done. I can watch your hands in action, but your tongue too fast may run. And the lectures you deliver may be very wise and true; But Fd rather get my lesson by observing what you do. For I may misunderstand you and the high advise you give, But there’s no misunderstanding how you act and how you live.” You as an individual, an instructor, and a friend will always have a place in our hearts for your help and guidance through our nursing education. We, the senior class of 1976, with sincere respect dedicate the ’’Spirit of ’76” to. .....................MRS. FRANCES WITHERS.
