V We, the annual staff of the 1957 Cap and Pin, have attempted on the following pages to record an accurate record of our three years here at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. We have tried to recapture the most important events, our first clinical assignments, special services, dances and parties, and those wonderful days at Dix Hill that ended all too soon, the most try- ing times , and the special moments that made all our hearts swell with pride. If in the future , this book will recall all those memories, then we will feel the satisfac- tion of a job well done. FOREWORD
