The First Annual Almost Any- thing Goes Contest is held for the sole purpose of having fun. Six teams, which can be divided into six academic areas, compete tor 6V2 hours, each trying to accumulate the most points. With 68 points, the Health Physical Education Recreation fH.P.E.R.l Team emerges the victors of the competition, You've heard ofthe Rose Bowl, the Orange Bowl, and being a Post Toastie, most certainly, the Cereal Bowl. Thirteen events bring dorms together as partici- pants in sports, art, and a trivia game. Rated on a point system, Suffolk Hall places higher in the overall count than any other dorm. Prizes include: bockgam- mon sets, T-shirts, dictionaries, dinner passes. Commencement takes place under a grey cloak of a wet sky, but we receive our degrees un- hampered by the weather. Inside we're beaming, having accom- plished one ofthe goals we've set for ourselves. i . X Professor Alfred Van Loen's sculpting a veterans' memorial has now ended atter months of tedious but rewarding work, The eight-toot, brass, three dimen- sional design rests proudly near Pell Hall.
