-fi 5' T. Although we are just next door to the Cinema, where Speak Out was held two days before, our thoughts are miles away from that. We can almost be in a Las Vegas nightclub, lt's David Bren- ner Live on stage in our very own Lecture l-lalll A Really Big Shoo to say the least, complete with a sell- out crowd and a Home Box Office telecast. David was off to Califor- nia to host The Tonight Show af- ter his performance here. l-'le even mentioned to his viewing audi- ence of millions that he had just done a gig at CWP. Now we're known nation wide! The C.W. Post Equestrian Team is known across Long ls- land and the Tri-State area be- cause of its successful, aggres- sive year. With all the grace and tenacity of a rider, the team gal- laps up to second place, at the heels of the bountiful and well- stocked Stony Brook team. Under Coach Kathy Perri's guidance, the Equestrian Team loasens its reins and goes to the head of its class. ,,,,.zuV ,Af ..c- p x if 5'2- -.qovff 31, 56:1

In a class all by himself, Mr. Rich Siporin is honored by Gam- ma Psi Delta. Yes, Sippy receives the UGLY MAN OF THE YEAR AWARD in the name of his fraternity, Zeta Beta Tau. The jar in front of his picture contained more money than any of his 32 competitors. Rich's sympathetic friends donate their spare dollars with the understanding that they are contributing to the commun- ity's fund drive to finance plastic surgery and cosmetic alterna- tions for the lucky winner of this contest. We're sure Mr. Siporin thanks each and every one of us from the bottom of his heart. We spoke with the man after his surgery: l'm so pleased with my new face that I'm going to make sure that all the people who contributed to my Fund receive a bottle of John- ny Walker Black - on me, of course. Incidentally, congratulations, Rich, for being chosen to be in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universi- ties. To add to the List of Beauties, fashion models display an array of looks for the 80's. SGA's pro- duction, with the aid William Matt Haircutters, keeps our eyes glued to the stage, rather than the clock that tells us we're missing classt Many of us opt for sneak pre- views of Punk fashion instead of old slides of Pre-Renaissance art. And none of us say: Next phase, new wave, dance craze, any ways, it's still missing class to mel -.kai J-,Q '9'-QQ? A ffQi ' NM ,-,. . - x ,, .. N , mul' . M . 1, , -Si:- .4-,431
