At high noon on February 28, the SGA sponsors Speak Out on Sports. Several hundred people comprise an attentive audience, collectively representing the frus- trated athletic community at large. A panel of nine address Bill Huffman, Sports Information Director, and respectfully but confidently probe the controver- sial issues pervading the Sport programs at Post. Our Post Pioneer Men's Basket- ball season chalks up a deceiving l l-l 4 record -6-5 in the Big Ap- ple Conference, lO-8 against non-Division l schools. Although we did not have a winning sea- son, we do have a school record broken by junior Mike Dias by ex- ecuting l7 assists. Transfer Senior Azhar Honeef, Ronny Szabo from Hicksville, and Terry Cullen, just to name o few, spark the team to withstand the long, grueling schedule of games. Wins over Adelphi, Manhattan prepare the Pioneers to upset with victory some Big Apple Conference teams. 5 c 3 , g Q 99 n 'G S l N 'D-,3.4L,l A ii s ,,,.., t lil QKOLOY' uvwnoooeui l illllllllteieili i Wo'v'l'I+llll' F- il l,llii9Cm'x,,t , tomb Wi ., Q- l'll'lll+'llo'i'6,w lt'o'e'0'0 l'i'o'itl il ,llemm .Q M 'OMAN -'f ll' N4 .
