You've heard of the moon over Miami? Well how about the moons over the path to Post Hall? These brazen young lads tried to shock us all with their friendly greeting as we unexpectedly met them on campus. They're either brave or dumb because there are practical nurses walking around at this time with empty syringes just waiting for some good, heal- thy donors tor their record-setting Blood Drive, held each year. Our Post Pioneer has a con- troversy brewing over the un- assumed editor-in-chief position. The year has begun and the newspaper lacks a person in charge, First Rich Van Allen, then Sue Jacobson took the run of the paper. Cathy Walters temporarily replaces them and finally Jeff Bor- no becomes the Editor for the rest of the year. With the changes of hands come changes in the Pioneer's mast heads and staff boxes. If you want to get to the W wing of Hillwood Commons, you'll now have to take a detour around the 8 foot cyclone fence. Once the construction to rebuild the Dome starts, the offices in l-lillwood Commons shake with the pound- ing of the adjoining structure. The temporary fence near the fallen Dome foreshadowed the coming of construction. Well, just as we anticipated, the rebuilding starts, and why not make a night of it?! The Parade of the Arts night invites student leaders, administrators, trustees, and celebrities to the Breaking of the Ground Ceremony. Complete with champagne, honorary de- gree recipients, and music, Benny Goodman and Madrigals enter- tain in the Lecture Hall- A five star evening. If you wait for a formal invita- tion to this, forget it. This is strict- ly first-come first-serve. lt's Spring i980 Dorm Room sign up time and the SlOO deposits are coming in bunches. 57

Congratulations, Dean Schemanl As we celebrate this great achievement, the Ambulance Corps celebrates its first anniversary of serving C.W. Post College and N.Y. Tech. Their training and expertise is always there to lend a helping hand in time of emergency. We really feel our dependancy on the Corps when the ambulance is damaged and immobilized by a freak colli- sion with a lamppost after the vehicle, empty, rolls down a hill. 59
