llditocs note As the rest of campus prepared for the fun of the summer, the staff of the Opticon prepared to assemble a yearbook, and let me tell you, it's quite a job. During our time together we learned about those dreaded deadlines that the rest of the Publications wing has been complaining about all year. But the end justifies the means in our business, so we grit our teeth and dive into the task with vigor. That vigor becomes strained after days of no sleep and non-stop work with 328 pages of copy, artwork, photos, and layout staring you in the face. Anyway we did survive, and put together what we feel is a first class book. lt was an honor and a pleasure to be a part of the twenty-fifth anniversary issue. We hope we did CW. Post justice with the result. I'd like to take this opportunity to give special thanks to Aaron Jarit and the whole crew at Carol Studios. Also, thanks to Carrie Hersch and Julie Karp for their untiring work.
