Membership is open to business students who have a schol- arship average of 2.25 or above and a minimum of I5 hours of college ' c credit. I The Biology Honor Society was organized to afford recognition to students who have compiled a superior scholastic record in the I biological sciences and have shown ability and interest in other academic fields. Membership is open to biology majors, although other maiors with strong emphasis on biology Ie.g., pre-medical, pre-dental, chemistryl may be eligible for membership also. Membership is open to juniors and seniors who have completed at least two advanced courses in biology and have acquired a 3.25 average in biology and a 2.75 cumulative average. 90

Post College in The spring of 1959, This society is The initial step Towards The establishment of a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, National Honor Society. The consti- tution of Phi Eta has been copied from that of Phi Beta Kappa. Membership in the organization is open to all faculty members who belong To Phi Beta Kappa. Graduating seniors with a 3.50 cumulative aver- age, no more Than 64 Transfer credits and no grade below a B are eligible for membership.
