li Q i l l l l 1 l 7 M7 88 Still in its formative years and newly under the direction of Dr. Charles Garrett, the Honors Program in the past year has experienced several important changes. The curriculum has been expanded to include several new courses. Also, it is now required ofthe honors student to complete a tutorial in his junior year and a project or thesis in his senior year. Socially, the Honors Program each year conducts a lecture series. The first speaker this year was Dr. Luke, reporting on his iob as delegate to the state constitutional convention. Following this Dr. Nahal, a visiting lecturer at Cornell University, gave a talk entitled Indian Culture. inning.
